Ο προπονητής της «βασίλισσας» έκανε ειδική μνεία στον επιθετικό της αγγλικής ομάδας χαρακτηρίζοντάς τον ως έναν παίκτη ολοκληρωμένο που μπορεί να κάνει τα πάντα στον αγωνιστικό χώρο. 

«Είναι ένα σημαντικότατος παίκτης για την Τότεναμ. Ένας καλός παίκτης από κάθε οπτική γωνία αλλά το καλύτερο επάνω του είναι ότι δεν έχει πάντα στον μυαλό του το γκολ. Είναι ένας ολοκληρωμένος ποδοσφαιριστής που μπορεί να μην φαίνεται αλλά πάντα αυτό που χρειάζεται η ομάδα του», ανέφερε ο Γάλλος προπονητής ο οποίος παλιότερα είχε φημολογηθεί ότι θα ήθελε τον Κέιν στην Ρεάλ. 

Σήμερα όμως όταν κλήθηκε να απαντήσει για το θέμα αυτό έστω και στο μέλλον υποστήριξε: 

«Δεν ξέρω τι πρόκειται να συμβεί»...
