Η Βαλένθια έρχεται στην Ελλάδα για τον Ουάρντα με τις «ευλογίες» του Έκτορ Ραούλ Κούπερ που τον παρακολουθεί στενά όλη τη σεζόν. 

Ο Αμρ Ουάρντα διανύει την καλύτερη σεζόν της καριέρας του με τα χρώματα του Ατρόμητου και δεν είναι λίγες οι ομάδες από την Ευρώπη που έχουν επισκεφτεί το Περιστέρι για να τον παρακολουθήσουν από κοντά. Οι εμφανίσεις αυτές ήταν και το διαβατήριο της επιστροφής του στην Εθνική ομάδα της Αιγύπτου που επέστρεψε στο Μουντιάλ μετά από είκοσι χρόνια.

Μια από τις ομάδες που φέρεται πως ενδιαφέρεται σφόδρα για τον μεσοεπιθετικό που ανήκει στον ΠΑΟΚ είναι και η Βαλένθια. Μάλιστα οι Ισπανοί αναμένονται στην Θεσσαλονίκη τον εόμενο μήνα ώστε να μπουν σε διαδικασία διαπραγματεύσης με τον ΠΑΟΚ που διατηρεί τα δικαιώματα του Ουάρντα. 

Η πιθανότερη εκδοχή του σίριαλ που ξεκινά φαίνεται πως θα έχει τέλος μετά το Μουντιάλ, καθώς αν ο Ουάρντα αγωνιστεί στα γήπεδα της Ρωσίας τότε αυτομάτως θα ανεβάσει το προσωπικό του κασέ αλλά και το κόστος πώλησής του. Συνεπώς δεν υπάρχει βιασύνη για υπογραφές, ιδιαίτερα από Θεσσαλονίκη μεριά. Πάντα φυσικά ελοχεύει ο κίνδυνος να μην αγωνιστεί σε κάποιο από τα ματς στη Ρωσία.

Οπότε δεν μπορεί κανείς να γνωρίζει που είναι διατεθειμένη να φτάσει η Βαλένθια όταν ξεκινήσουν οι διαπραγματεύσεις. Αν δε θέλουν να εξελιχθεί η υπόθεση σε «νυφοπάζαρο» με πολλούς μνηστήρες τότε δεν αποκλείεται να κάνουν πρόταση που να ικανοποιεί τον ΠΑΟΚ αλλά και τον Ουάρντα ακόμα και πριν το Μουντιάλ. 

Στην Βαλένθια πάντως έχουν σχηματίσει εξαιρετική γνώμη για τον Αιγύπτιο άσο, καθώς έχουν πάρει και το πράσινο φως από τον Έκτορ Ραούλ Κούπερ. Ο Αργετινός τεχνικός διατηρεί άριστες σχέσεις με τις «νυχτερίδες» τις οποίες προπόνησε από το 1999 ως το 2001 έχοντας δύο τελικούς Champions League. 


Οι άνθρωποι της Βαλένθια ρώτησαν τον Κούπερ για τον Ουάρντα καθώς ο Αργεντινός προπονητής παρακολούθησε στενά την φετινή πορεία του άσου του Ατρόμητου φτάνοντας στο σημείο να τον καλέσει στην Εθνική Αιγύπτου. Συνεπώς ερωτηθείς για τον Ουάρντα είχε ξεκάθαρα θετική γνώμη και αυτή μετέφερε στην Βαλένθια.
